OUTBREAK 1 - BLOOM

TESTAMENT OF THE AFFLICTED

fascination

faces shimmered, as their delirium rose to their skin 

petals pushed through pores

nerves branching like roots

the plague blossomed

no one wanted to believe it was sickness 

they only wanted to feel chosen"

 

TESTAMENT OF THE CONDEMNED

"i keep seeing them 

when i close my eyes 

the abyss stares

the truth can only be learned 

by marching forward"

OUTBREAK 2 - PROPAGATION

TESTAMENT OF THE MERCENARY

"the smell of blood 

permeates the stagnant air 

it’s so quiet my ears are 

ringing 

i just need to make it 

to the fields 

the fields are the last

safe place 

i hear the bells 

toll there"

 

TESTAMENT OF THE FRACTURED

"i do not wish

to die 

but tomorrow i will climb 

the 13 steps 

i do not wish 

to die 

i long only to return 

to be clean again 

but i know it is not to be. 

though i have done nothing 

this scourge has been thrust 

upon me 

this is not judgement 

my sentence has been carved 

into my skin."

TESTAMENT OF THE REMNANT

"it came back

it always comes back

whispers of a nameless fear 

darkness crept back 

into the forests of the world 

as i gaze 

at the vessel 

of living radiance 

i feel my light 

my essence 

stolen"

 

TESTAMENT OF THE FORSAKEN

"woe

for i cannot die 

my existence is cursed 

neither ambition nor avarice

can enter my mind
